Mother's Day is a worldwide holiday. It is celebrated every year. Long time ago, Greece started the Mother's day because of their Greek goddess - Cybele ( She is the mother of many Greek gods including Zeus , Poseidon, Persephone,Hera,Hestia) In the United States, it is celebrated on the second Sunday in May. During the civil war, many American mothers lost their sons. They decided to meet together on this day for the memory of their sons. The day was created by Anna Jarvis. She wants to accomplish her mother's dream of making a celebration for all mothers. In China, we give our mothers carnations on Mother's Days. It is country's traditional ethics show filial piety to parents. Mother's day reminds us of loving and respecting our parents. 
Family Day
May 15 is celebrated as the International Day of the Family. Draw a pic of your family members. Family is a group of people or animals wherein the adults care for the young. Family is like a harbor where we can rest our mind and body.

A. Game: (10 mins) 两种设想： 1.给出不同的图片，如round face, big eyes, thin / strong .先由老师口述人物特征，请学生上台根据这些描述拼出一个完整的人物。然后改为一组学生自己描述人物特征，另一组拼图。（考虑到材料还有粘贴问题，决定选第二种方法） 2．无图片，由学生直接在黑板上根据描述画出相应的人物。
B. 针对课堂纪律难以控制的情况，有两种办法应对。
1. 请上讲台，在五分钟内不允许其回答问题。
2. 把课堂上捣乱学生的名字写在黑板上, 如果回答问题正确，老师就擦掉他名字末的一个字母，依次类推，直到把他的名字从黑板上全部擦去。（个人觉得这种方法比较合适）
